ムラサキサギゴケ
ムラサキサギゴケが咲いています。水田のあぜ道などによくみられる多年草です。花は近縁種のトキワハゼに似ていますが、本種は長い走出枝をだして広がっていくことで区別することができます。めしべの先端は２つに分かれていますが、花粉がつくなどの刺激を受けると閉じることが知られています。
"Murasaki-Sagigoke (ムラサキサギゴケ)" plants are in bloom. They are perennial plants that are often seen on footpaths between rice fields. Their flowers are similar to the ones of a relative species called "Tokiwa-Haze (トキワハゼ)", but you can tell this species from the other relative ones by the fact that this species spreads growing running brunches. The tip of their pistil splits into two, but in some stimulation like touching pollen, it will close.
