セントウソウ
セントウソウが咲いています。樹林内に見られる小型のセリ科の多年草です。和名の由来は、冬の終わりに真っ先に咲くことから先頭草、仙人が住むような人里離れた場所に見られるので仙洞草など諸説あります。

"Sentousou (セントウソウ)" plants are in bloom. They are small perennial herbs in the parsley family that grow in forests. There are several theories about the origin of its Japanese name. One suggests that it comes from the fact that they bloom early in spring, while another links it to their tendency to grow in secluded places where hermits are said to live.
