ヤマホタルブクロが咲いています。和名は、ホタルブクロの変種で、低地よりも山地などに多いことに由来します。がく片の間に反り返った付属片がないことで、ホタルブクロと見分けることができます。キャンパス内ではどちらも見ることができます。

"Yama-Hotarubukuro (ヤマホタルブクロ)" plants are in bloom.  As the name suggests, they are related to "Hotarubukuro (ホタルブクロ)" and tend to grow in mountain areas rather than lowlands. You can distinguish them from "Hotarubukuro" by the absence of the backward-curving appendages between the sepals. Both species can be found on our campus.
