"Shirodamo (シロダモ)" trees are in bloom. They are the evergreen semi-tall trees of the Lauraceae family that often grow in forests. They are a dioecious plant and this one in the photo is a male tree. The name comes from the fact that the back of their leaves is whitish and they look like one of their relatives called "Tabunoki (タブノキ)".
