コオニユリ
コオニユリが咲いています。草原に生える野生のユリです。地下の球根はゆり根として食用になります。食用になるユリは数種類ありますが、スーパーなどで野菜として売られている栽培品のゆり根はほとんどがこのコオニユリを品種改良したものです。
"Kooni-Yuri (コオニユリ)" plants are in bloom. They are a wild lily that grows in grass fields. Their bulbs are called "Yurine (ゆり根)" in Japanese and are edible. While there are a few more edible lilies, the cultivated ones sold at supermarkets as vegetables are the same species as this lily.
