タケニグサ
タケニグサが咲いています。2mほどに成長する大型の多年草です。花は花弁がなく、多数の雄しべが目立ちます。和名は茎が中空で竹に似ていることに由来するという説があります。
"Takenigusa (タケニグサ)" plants are in bloom. They are a large herbaceous plant that grows up to around 2 meters. Their flowers have no petals but have many outstanding stamens. One possible origin of its name is the fact that their stems are hollow and look like bamboo.
