コマツナギ
コマツナギが咲いています。１ｍ前後になる落葉小低木ですが、不二聖心では定期的に草刈りが行われているため、はうように生育しています。和名のコマとは馬のことで、由来は馬をつないでおけるほど茎が丈夫だからという説と、馬が好んで食べるためその場に留めておくことができるからという説があります。
"Koma-Tsunagi (コマツナギ)" plants are in bloom. Although they are small shrubs which usually grow up to 1m, on our campus they grow crawling because they are regularly mowed. "Koma" in the name means horses. There are two possible origins of its name: The one is that their stems are strong enough to tie horses and the other is that horses like to eat this plant, so you can stop the horses there.
