"Hikiokoshi (ヒキオコシ)" plants are in bloom. The name comes from the historical event that the founder of the Shingon sect of Buddhism called "Koubou-Daishi" gave the juice of this plant to a sick person, who recovered later. This plant has strong bitterness and has been used as a folk medicine. This plant has another name "Enmei-Sou (エンメイソウ)", which has the similar sort of story for the origin of its name as that of “Hikiokoshi”.
